Baker Services was established in 1987 by Tim Baker to serve the needs of local business and homeowners.

The company started after several years of hearing complaints from various home owners, businesses, friends and family about not being able to hire quality services for home or commercial repairs and remodels. I had heard stories about “so & so contractor came out and looked at my project and that was the last I heard from them.” I had also tried to hire a contractor to do some remodeling for my home. Although he showed up, gave me a bid, and started the work, he would not show up for days and when he did, he did very little work. I finally fired him and completed the project myself.

After completing my own project, a friend told me about a project that she was trying to complete. It was a $20,000 job that several contractors had looked at, however no one would call her back. After talking it over, I decided to give her a bid and thus how Baker Service Company. began.

Baker Service Company believes you can not hire a contractor on price alone. Lower prices can usually lead to dissatisfied customers and low end results. Quality workmanship is more expensive than “fly by night” contractors, and for good reason. To achieve quality workmanship, we take the time to make sure the project is done correctly the first time.
